Spend, Spend, Spend!

Let's say that you are a new college graduate. Yay! You get a job (we're making this easy for time sake) and you're making some money. Then you get a credit card. Now you can spend as much as you want! You spend and spend and spend, with no consequences. But, uh oh, now you are in a lot of debt.

The next obvious choice is to get another credit card, pay off your debt with it, and then spend some more. Now this credit card is asking for their money back, so what should you do? Spend more of course. Keep spending until you have no more debt.

Scratching your head? Me too.

I have no idea what kind of economic courses the Obama administration, or liberals in general, have taken, but they are certainly far from what I the ones that I've taken. I have learned that you manage your money. You spend what you have and no more.

I understand that we have been in loads of debt for a long time but, as with the scenario above, how do you expect to spend your way out of it? You can't pay off a credit card with another one, because that just adds your debt on another one. The same applies for this country's economics.

Seeing as we are trillions of dollars in debt, that's 13,000,000,000,000, how can we afford to give a $400 million aide package to Palestine? How do we have enough money to give the government 1/6 of our economy? How do we have enough money to spend $787 billion for a stimulus package? How do we even have enough money to send our president to play SEVEN rounds of golf during this oil spill?

Well the answer is that we do not have the money. So I ask any liberals out there, how to you expect for this economy to recover if you are digging it into an oblivion of debt? How do you get out of debt by spending more? Please tell me because if I'm not missing something, then you obviously are.
