I guess it shouldn't surprise me when this government starts to make decisions that go against the rights of the states and the federal courts. Judge Martin Feldman halted the moratorium on Gulf Shore Drilling. Then Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said that he would impose a new order forcing new moratorium.
I just can't believe it. The American government is telling us what is good for us. They treat us as if we do not understand these big issues, so they have to make our decisions. Does this sound like a wannabe dictatorship to anyone else?
These people are slowly and steadily taking over any part of our government that may threaten them. First the overhaul of health care, then the lawsuit that they are readily preparing against Arizona, and now they are trying to rid the federal courts of their power.
They do not care about checks and balances. They do not care about what the American people want. They do not care about whats best for the country. All of these things sound a lot like what this country was built upon. If they do not care about what the country was built on, then how can they possibly protect and defend the constitution? Sounds like a conflict of interest to me.
They're pushing the limits. Limits that were put in place to stop someone from taking complete control over the country. Sounds an awful lot like a dictatorship to me.
